Reading Journal

Last night i read for 30 minutes. My book was called the 52 story tree house, the story was about a boy called Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. The book was funny because it was Andy's birthday but terry didn't notice it was Andy's birthday. So they had to go to the remembering booth. Terry sits down and Andy lowers the cone of remembrance over his head and locked it into positions. Andy says,'okay,' its ready. you can start remembering now'. Then terry gets a dreamy look on his face, he says,(Wednesday 12th August) Remember the time we came to the remembering booth to try to remember what was the special about today?' he says, as images of us climbing up to the remembering booth appear on the screens. How could i ever forget it?' Andy says. Especially since it only happened ONE MINUTE AGO!' Hang on, I'm remembering something else!' says Terry. 'Remember the time we set the wave machine to the maximum possible size and had that surfing competition and you got wiped out and i won?'

'No,' Andy says, I don't remember that at all.'I'm not surprised,' says Terry,'you hit your head pretty hard on those rocks. Look!' Andy shake his fist at him. 'I'll hit your head pretty hard in a minute if you don't start remembering right now,Terry continues remembering.'Remember the time one of the ghosts from the haunted house got out and haunted our toilet?' He says. 'Don't remind me,' Andy says. 'I was so scared, I needed to go to the toilet, but i couldn't go to the toilet because there was a ghost in there!' 'And remember when i put my mouth over (31/8/15)the giant hairdryer and my head got really big?' Says Terry. 'Are you kidding?'Andy says. 'That was the funniest day ever, especially when i popped it with a pin!' 'Andy?' says Terry. 'I've just remembered something else.' 'Is it to do with me?' 'Yes!' 'Well Andy says, 'what is it?' 'I seem to remember that i vowed to get revenge on you for popping my head with a pin.' 'Never mind that now,' Andy says.'Do you remember anything else about me? Anything at all?' 'Yes i do,' says Terry. 'And it's quite important, too.' 'At last! Good work, Terry ,' Andy says. 'Well?' 'We're supposed to be writing a book,' he says. 'And its due any day now.' Uh-oh. Terry's absolutely right.

Today I read for 30 minutes. My book was called "Tom Gates The extra special treats (Not)" well the story was about a boy called Tom and he had a best friend called Derek Fingle and there was a annoying kid called Marcus Meldrew but every time when they were doing math Marcus was trying to act smart and he wasn't even smart. Tom went to a school called "oak field with Derek and they were in the same class.Tom, Derek and Norman were in a band together Tom did the guitar, Derek did the piano and Norman did the drum kit.

Today I read for 30 minutes. My book was called"Go Girl! The secret club", the story was about a girl called Tamsin and her little black Scottie dog called Trixie and she had a really best friend called Karen, Tamsin was really sad because she was moving her house and her school because her mum had a new business, and Tamsin couldn't see Karen again. When Tamsin went to her new school she made three friends they were called Casey, Nina and Ivy. Tamsin thought Casey was really mean and she thought Nina and Ivy was really kind. Then they went out for skipping, Tamsin hadn't played skipping for ages. She concentrated to see how the game worked as Casey skipped in the middle.

Today after school I read for 30 minutes. My book was called Tom Gates YES No Maybe, Sometimes making up Tom's mind isn't easy to do. Especially when his grumpy sister Delia is LOOMING over Tom. Tom's mum is on a mission to TIDY UP the WHOLE house. She says if He can't decide what to get rid of - she'll do it for Tom. Which is a DISASTER! Luckily for him THE FOSSILS to his rescue( more than once)

Today I read for 30 minutes. My book was called Sadako and the thousand paper crane, so the story was about a real little girl called Sadako Sasaki, she lived in japan from 1943 to 1955. Sadako Sasaki was two years old when an atom bomb was dropped on the city of Hiroshima in Japan, where she lived with her family. Ten years later, she had leukemia as a result of radiation from the bomb. Sadako is a heroine to the children of japan who visit her memorial in the Hiroshima Park to leave the paper cranes they have made in honor.

Today in school i read for 30 minutes. My book was called Dear Writer,
When Lizzie and Joanne try to research their favorite writer, They think its harder then they thought and they can't find much information about R.U. Good fellow at all. But when Lizzie and Joanne decide to have a party for Mr Carlyle and invite the author as mystery guest

Today after school i read for 30 minutes. My book was called Go girls Dancing queen, the story was about a girl called called charlie, charlie was getting to excited about her modern dance class and it's not all perfect. She's in a wrong dance clothes. The trendy girls tease her and now there's the concert to worry about. Charlie starts to dance.

Today i read for 30 minutes. My book was called Emily Feather and the Enchanted Door, the story was about a girl called Emily she loves her unusual house. The weird thing is it has so many different doors and everything is not  matched and sometimes it feels like the walls have moved. But Emily can't help feeling that things are little odd, and not just in her house. Her family are all acting very strangely.

Today in school i read a book called A Sailor Returns the story was about a boy called Evan Bryant he is eleven years old he doesn't have lots of excitement in his life. There is a bully at his school he bully's him the much and takes his lunch. To him sports a difficult because of his foot.
